How quickly do you generally respond to enquiries (not an emergency)?

We deliberately don't give a fixed time here — instead we tell you how it's organized. During office hours Mon–Fri 9am–5pm, chat and the contact form are staffed by a person. Outside these hours, your enquiry is logged, forwarded and answered as quickly as possible — through our team, not just a single person. For a genuine emergency there's the separate route with a phone number, see "I think my website has been hacked".

How do I reach you — chat, email, phone?

Fastest is via chat directly on weiterpress.ch, alternatively by email to info@weiter.ch or through the contact form. In an acute emergency — website offline or hacked — a phone number is also shown in the chat window, so you don't have to fill out a form first. The chat is staffed by a person during office hours; outside these hours your message is logged and forwarded.

Do you also speak English?

Yes. Enquiries outside office hours, or when no one in Bern is available at that moment, are forwarded to our team in English so that several people can handle them — you'll get the reply in German. This way, reachability doesn't depend on a single person. In emergencies, the direct route to a German-speaking person remains available.

About us

How long have you been doing this?

We've been maintaining and cleaning up WordPress websites since 2011 — hacked sites, updates that broke something, forms that quietly stopped sending. WeiterPress is the specialized WordPress service of Weiter GmbH, which has advised on graphic design, branding and marketing communication in Bern since 2009. Over the years this has grown into a standalone offering focused on support and maintenance. We don't quote a number for how often a hack or outage happened along the way — that would sound like a tally rather than experience.
